Applications Engineer

Temporary, full time position, approx 4 months in duration: Provide application-programming support for data integrity analysis reports and applications modifications as defined by project team. As much as possible, resolve data integrity issues with automated solutions.
Sales Engineer Assist the sales force in a pre-sales scenario. The main focus will be on large users accounts. Offer the sales team and the customer the technical background information needed to properly understand which is the product that best fits the customer's requirements.

Manufacturing Engineer This individual will be chartered with evaluating existing production floor practices and procedures and recommending improvements from the standpoint of assembly automation, workstation and product flow efficiency and overall manufacturing cost reduction methods. Responsibilities will include: Conduct factory cost work standard analysis; create assembly aides, process instructions and assembly procedures; provide production floor and assembly support in technical matters relating to ECN’s, drawing interpretation, rework and tooling; design custom test fixtures; evaluate test and production data; recommend manufacturing methods; interface with Engineering in coordinating the release of new products; review customer documentation packages and customer ECO’s to determine impact on Lintelle.
 
Electro-Mechanical Assemblers 3 years electro/mechanical assembly experience including wiring/cable/harness/chassis assembly. Must be able to interpret schematics and drawings; utilize small hand tools; soldering. Prefer experience with prototype as well as production builds. Ability to read and understand English and lift 25 pounds. Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM day shift with overtime as needed.
 
Designer (ProE) Responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts, or notes provided by engineering. Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards, and ECN/ECR documentation. May be involved in system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.
 

Electrical Engineer

Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support development.
Industrial Engineer 2

Performs any of the following:

Manufacturing Engineering: Develops operation methods and processes in the fabrication of new or existing company product lines. Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations to engineering on process requirements for new or existing products. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Quality Assurance Engineering: Designs and implements methods, procedures, and standards for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action. Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures.

Test Engineering: Develops cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment and completes specifications for new and existing products.

 

PLC Programmer / Electrical Engineer

Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
Sr. Product Marketing Engr

Aviza Technology is growing and we are looking to hire an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for creating product, technology, & engineering improvement roadmaps and providing inputs to Aviza’s ALD roadmaps per customer requests.

 
Supplier Engineer 2

Responsible for ensuring that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. Qualifies suppliers according to company standards. Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur. Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure GMPs and quality standards are met. Evaluates suppliers’ internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.

 

Sr. Software Engineer 4

Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and internet-related tools, etc. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Programmers who are developing applications for technical end users (e.g., CAD, CAM, CAE, CASE) should be matched here.
Software Engineer 3 (Applications)

Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

 

R&D ENG IV

Research new technologies and competitive products; define, design and implement features in Jbuilder; perform maintenance and bug fixes on existing Jbuilder/Primetime codebase. Senior Java developer with strong Swing and GUI framework experience. Passionate about Java and software engineering, personal interest and/or experience in developer productivity tools. Experience shipping commercial shrink wrapped software products. Strong knowledge of open source Java tools.
INTEGRATION ENGINEER Deliver builds of the Optimizeit products on the various platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris....). Update, make files, and build scripts based on R&D requirements. Investigate failures in the build and delivery system. Build product launchers and installers for the various products on each supported platform. Perform source code management functions like tagging, branching and merging. Update build machines as required. Test product installations. Produce clear, thoroughly commented, and well-organized code that requires minimal rework with minimal direction. Contribute to an overall improvement effort to enhance processes and guidelines related to installability and build systems.
 

SW Engineering Manager

The SW engineering manager has primary responsibility for managing the EMU Systems software engineering team through successful productization of application, driver, DSP, and embedded firmware components. The scope of responsibility includes participating in the product and technical design processes, defining and maintaining supporting architectures (and associated documentation) as well as managing the implementation efforts. The SW engineering manager also assigns specific tasks to team members, including both bug-fixing and new-development tasks, assesses progress of engineering deliverables (in coordination with the Program Manager). The SW engineering manager will also be looked upon to contribute significant coding deliverables.
Mac Software Application Engineer The Mac Software Application Engineer develops Mac applications and their associated software components for deployment in EMU Systems products. The scope of responsibilities includes participating in the product and technical design processes, defining and maintaining supporting software application architectures (and associated documentation) as well as code implementation. The Mac software application engineer works with a distributed team of software and hardware engineers and has excellent team and communication skills.
 
Quality Assurance Technician II Position located in Scotts Valley - This position is available in the Automated Merchandising Division. This individual will perform a variety of quality assurance functions under limited supervision including: Receiving, in-process and final inspection; interface with Engineering on prototype inspections; problem resolution; provide support to MRB, RMA and tool calibration efforts; and data entry of quality documentation. Requires an AS/AA, trade school education or equivalent experience and 3 - 5 years of quality inspection experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, cables, printed circuit boards and sheet metal. Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Access and Word), and ability to interpret engineering drawings. This is a temporary to regular full time position.
